“Fear is inevitable, I have to accept that, but I cannot allow it to paralyze me.”

“People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don’t deserve them, or that they’ll be unable to achieve them.”

“Those who never take risks can only see other people’s failures.”

“How much I missed, simply because I was afraid of missing it.”

When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears.

Life is found in the dance between your deepest desire and your greatest fear.

Let fear be a counsellor and not a jailor

Fear itself is quite fear-inducing. Most intelligent people in the world dress it up as something else: optimistic denial.

If the challenge we face doesn’t scare us, then it’s probably not that important.

Our country is now geared to an arms economy bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and an incessant propaganda of fear.

Could I have but a line a century hence crediting a contribution to the advance of peace, I would yield every honor which has been accorded by war.

“We have grown literally afraid to be poor. We despise anyone who elects to be poor in order to simplify and save his inner life. If he does not join the general scramble and pant with the money-making street, we deem him spiritless and lacking in ambition”

Do not fear mistakes. You will know failure. Continue to reach out.

Failure is an importance part of your growth… Don’t be afraid to fail.

“If you are afraid to fail, you will never do the things you are capable of doing.”

I fear just one thing: Money! Greed was what motivated Judas to sell Jesus

We must never be afraid to be a sign of contradiction for the world.

We fear the future because we are wasting today.

“but the bravest man among us is afraid of himself”

“I am afraid that woman appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters, all the same. They love being dominated.”

“Live! Live the wonderful life that is in you! Let nothing be lost upon you. Be always searching for new sensations. Be afraid of nothing.”

Free should the scholar be, — free and brave… Brave; for fear is a thing, which a scholar by his very function puts behind him. Fear always springs from ignorance… The world is his, who can see through its pretension.

What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.

I believe that one can never leave home. I believe that one carries the shadows, the dreams, the fears and the dragons of home under one's skin, at the extreme corners of one's eyes and possibly in the gristle of the earlobe.
