Chaplin was my idol. I remember watching those movies at this little theater in Woodstock, N.Y., when I was probably 6 and laughing so hard at the surprises, like Keaton suddenly being dragged by a streetcar.

If you get 'hot,' everyone's nice to you.

Anything I have blown a lot of money on? Well, I have three daughters and a wife - that's four women, and I'm working on a sitcom, so you could say that I am just trying to stay alive!

I did very well when I was younger, and I am fine.

I prefer movies because the money is better and certainly because you really know where you stand when you are making movies, and I have made a lot of them: 50-something - I don't know.

Who made me laugh when I was growing was Chaplin and the Marx Brothers, and then moving on, there were so many that I was a writer for for many years: I was a writer for the Smothers Brothers, Lily Tomlin, then I started on 'Saturday Night Live' as the head writer the first year we started it.

There's no vacation from being a parent.

It will eventually be discovered that the more you sleep, the healthier you are. Which means you'll really be at your healthiest when you pass away.

I turned down 'Forrest Gump.'

I've been too funny in my life to have to play a character who's... moderately funny.

It's not like I am working with the great innovators of all time, but at the same time, they are my friends.

I'd never be tied down for five years interviewing TV personalities.

When I saw 'Caddyshack,' I realized I couldn't act.

There was a whole slew of 'Cops and Robbersons,' just films that didn't measure up, that didn't stand for anything comedically. They were purely for a paycheck.

Avoid fatty foods, Bensonhurst, and hair care products.

Fame is a very unnatural human condition.

I come from a much freer kind of performance thing, where I rely on my own improv and my own sense of humor.

If what you do in life is perform to open up eyes and minds, to make people laugh, then it better damn well be new! It shouldn't be just a repetitious 'Hey, I'm still here!'

I'm a New Yorker, and I live in the country.

Thank God I have the right friends.

It wasn't as if I was simply some guy who had never seen the other side of the tracks.

It was pretty clear that I was a funny guy, just as a guy.

Damn, I had some great moves. I still have them; I'm just not using them at home a lot.

Frank Capra's grandson was a second Assistant Director on 'Christmas Vacation.'

It's so important, people laughing.

Laughter kills lonesome. It's one of the great things in our lives.

When it comes to exercise, it's really hard for me to have a weekly routine because my schedule changes daily. But I try to go jogging as much as possible - when I'm in L.A., I do it every day.

I bought a Cartier nail bracelet to celebrate the fifth anniversary of my blog. It's an investment piece, but it's simple enough to wear every day, and it's something that will last forever.

My style changes every day. I would say its casual chic.

Growing up, I always liked Catwoman and Superman; they inspired me.

I like to wear boots with skirts or mini-dresses, or jeans with sneakers and jumpers, leather jackets, or a rain coat.

I love hats, especially when you have bad hair days.

Be patient - if something is supposed to happen, it's going to happen. Whenever I've tried to force things, they didn't go right.

My favourite leather jackets are timeless.

My secret has always been to be true to myself.

I think you should always have a big team behind you if you are a big brand because it makes you think big.

Years and years ago, I was obsessed with these Pamela Love necklaces, and they had a claw, like an eagle claw, which was silver. Then I found one on this random website. I thought it was a fake claw, and when it arrived, it was a real one, cut off from the animal! It came to my house, and it was disgusting; it was a chicken claw or something.

You can totally work with brands. People love seeing that, but you have to build stories. You have to build credibility, and those brands have to really be the perfect fit for yourself.

I wear a Chanel backpack most of the time, and my Louis Vuitton Keepall duffel is my go-to carry-on.

Personality for me is the strongest statement.

My intention was to create something that people loved to look at and they could find inspiration from, and that was it.

In a few years, we might not still be into Instagram, but hopefully I'll be into the next thing and have fun do it.

I don't do dishes, and I don't cook, either! Everything else, I can do!

I have always used Pantene hair products since I was a child, since I was 9 or 10 years old when I began to shampoo and condition my hair. I have also always been 'obsessed' with the brand's beautiful ad campaigns.

As long as you're ahead of a trend, I think you're going to be fine. You really have to have a multitasking mind that can switch from one thing to the other easily without too much focus on, 'Oh, I'm going to Instagram my life.'

Nowadays, you don't need to live in a fashion capital of the world, have lots of money, or be able to shop during certain hours. With online retail, it's possible to browse and shop for fashion anytime of the day, from pretty much anywhere.

Don't think too much. The best pictures come naturally.

I've always been into shoes and bags.

I could have been like so many other bloggers or 'influencers' who just have their agent and are more like celebrities, but I've never wanted it to be only like that. Of course, I still want that part in my life, but I also wanted to create a brand.

Of course, you decide which story you want to tell. For me, it's been very authentic, so sometimes I'm super happy, and I post four pictures one after the other; sometimes I'm busy, and I don't. Sometimes I'm sad, and I post a sad picture.
