It was described by Allen with the power of thought, and particularly with the use and application of thought to happy and beautiful issues. I have tried to make the book simple, so that all can easily grasp and follow its teaching, and put into practice the methods which it advises. It shows how, in his own thought-world, each man holds the key to every condition, good or bad, that enters into his life, and that, by working patiently and intelligently upon his thoughts, he may remake his life, and transform his circumstances. Book Two: 'Master of Destiny' is the perfect follow up to 'As A Man Thinketh'--as relevant today as it was a century agoJames Allen's book, while not getting caught up in the "infinite and eternal" law of attraction, raises some interesting philosophical questions about how much of our lives we control. According to Allen, we're responsible for it all: "Nothing comes unbidden; where the shadow is, there also is the substance." Even though cheaters may (temporarily) prosper while good guys (temporarily) finish last, everyone will get what they deserve in the end.
