The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.

False teachers of the Way of life use flowery words.

You will never get any more out of life than you expect.

To live is to express, and to express you have to create. Creation is never merely repetition. To live is to express oneself freely in creation.

The more we value things, the less we value ourselves.

Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.

Life is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.

Life is wise, limitless. There is no border, no frontier.

To strive actively to achieve some goal gives your life meaning and substance.

Live content with small means; seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion. Be worthy, not respectable, wealthy, not rich; study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.

“We are the only ones who can make decisions for ourselves about how we will handle the situations that arise in our lives. Life is not likely to get any easier, but our approach to life can change and that will make it easier.”

Since life is an ever-evolving process, one should flow in this process and discover how to actualize and expand oneself.

When a man has confidence in himself, when all he wants in the world is to live out his destiny in freedom and purity, he comes to regard all those vastly overestimated and far too costly possessions as mere accessories, pleasant perhaps to have and make use of, but never essential.

Those who distrust the life-giving force within them, or who have none, are driven to compensate through such substitutes as money.

“life without peace, is the result of trying to do something about something you cannot do anything about.”

“In order to seize the day, make goals and go after them with all your heart.”

“I encourage you to examine your life, to pay attention to your thoughts and your words, and to see how much thanksgiving you express. Do you murmur and complain about things or are you thankful?”

“being a garbage dump for other people does not promote peace for me, and I want peace more than I want to know what is going on in everyone else’s life.”

“• Your mind, mouth, moods, and attitudes are all intricately connected. • No matter what you experience, you are responsible for your own life. • A transformed mind leads to transformed moods, attitudes, and behaviors. • Thinking godly thoughts and speaking them each morning is an exercise that can change your entire day.”

“Contentment with life is not a feeling, but it is a decision we must make. Contentment does not mean that we never want to see change or improvement, but it does mean we can be happy where we are and will do the best we can with what we have. It also means we will maintain an attitude that allows us to enjoy the gift of life.”

Open yourself and flow, my friend. Flow in the total openness of the living moment.

Be pliable. When a man is living, he is soft and pliable; when he is dead, he becomes rigid. Pliability is life; rigidity is death, whether one speak’s of man’s body, his mind, or his spirit.

“Our minds may be like some computers that can have a lifetime of wrong information stored in them.”

“God has a great life planned for you.”
