I got much acclaim with 'Traffic Signal' but 'Superstar' didn't do well.

I love action films because I have grown up seeing some of the brilliant movies of the genre like 'Ghatak,' 'Ghayal,' 'Shiva.' Watching people doing such stunts had always mesmerised me and fascinated me to think that I should also do such things if I become a hero.

I enjoyed watching 'Mirzapur,' 'Sacred Games.' There are interesting shows.

I don't chalk out my career thinking that I want to first do serious drama, then a comedy or an action. I take the best of what's available and only if it interests me.

I'm a big foodie but not much of a cook. I can cook desi stuff like dal, rice and chicken. I learnt to cook a little bit when I was in college and I used to cook for my friends. I'm not picky about food and eat all types of food, the type of cuisine doesn't matter as long as the food tastes good.

I have been lucky to have got big offers like 'Kalyug,' 'Traffic Signal' or 'Dhol.'

I am a person who is greedy to do better in life, to do more in life.

Most people only concentrate on their upper body and ignore their legs. It doesn't make sense to have a bulky upper body and have skinny legs. I too, fell prey to this and had weak legs.

An actor has to be a complete package, he should have a toned body, know how to dance, act and do everything possible under the sun.

My kiss in 'Kalyug' was beautifully shot.

First hand on 'Go Goa Gone' I learnt how to write on final drafts, how the process works.

Although jealousy is a strong word, who would like to see the person they love romance someone else, even onscreen?

At times I do feel that there is some issue with child actors because in all my films my performance has been appreciated but the films have not created magic at the box office.

There are times when your films don't work, your phone doesn't ring and you wonder what you have done.

Sporting a six-pack doesn't necessarily mean that one is fit as it tends to reduce one's immunity levels.

Directors were apprehensive in trying comedy with me.

When we watch a film as actors, you have to understand that we always see much more than what's on screen.

I am not a fitness freak.

For any relationship to survive, one needs excellent communication.

As an actor, I can only do my job well, but in a movie there are a lot of other things that matter too - like how it is edited and promoted and the works. Those are not in my hand.

More than the length, it's the meat of the character that is more important. It does not matter if you are on screen, standing in the corner for the whole film, as opposed to doing something that stands out in two scenes.

As a child, I thought we had come to Mumbai for a holiday. I did not realise that this holiday was permanent.

If you notice, no child star made it big when s/he grew up because the child's image was still fresh in people's memory. They could not digest the fact that the child star had grown into a man.

After Class 10, I kept away from films.

I have had my share of flops and it's very discouraging. It's pathetic to be on that side.

You don't want to be wearing tight jeans and a blingy jacket on a 16-hour flight.

The only time I travelled solo was when I did a 40-day trip visiting America for the first time.

I'm not much of a hectic packer and prefer to travel light.

I think one should take criticism in one's stride and prove oneself. In fact, I would like to thank my critics as their criticism gave me the fire and passion to prove myself.

After working in a number of films as a child actor, I took a break so that people could forget me as a child actor and relate to me as a hero.

I am lucky to get different roles.

I would love to do roles which would become dream roles for others.

I don't think any relation can work if one dominates. It has to be an equal relation for it to be successful and happy.

People will always talk about stars who are doing two films together.

I'm glad that the audience and critics have liked my work.

I don't make a conscious effort to choose any particular genre. If I like the script, I go ahead with the project.

I am enjoying being an actor, I really love the art.

I have been doing films since I was seven. I really love the medium itself.

I am not a trained writer.

Acting is my first love and I want to stick to it. But I would be happy to offer my inputs to a script, if asked.

I know my limitations as an actor.

Kissing on screen isn't easy.

There are roles that I can't do.

Dhol' is a light-hearted thriller revolving around four unemployed guys who are chasing money. It's my first attempt at comedy.

I hate controversies and want to be in the news for the right reasons.

I don't want to take off my shirt and roam topless all the time, just for the heck of it.

People always told me that 'Kalyug' wasn't the right choice, but it did well and now I think people have accepted me in the lead.

Though I can speak only tooti futi Gujarati, I can understand it completely.

I'm a movie fanatic and love watching all kinds of movies.

Once in a while, I get a massage done at home but I'm not a spa junkie.
