Bill Bradley

Date of Birth:

28-Jul-1943

Nationality:

United States

Bill Bradley has gained fame in two very different careers, one in basketball court and one in politics, for applying the same high levels of determination and ability. After choosing not to play basketball Powerhouse for his educational purposes, he made headlines as a Princeton team. As a prolific shooter and free thrower, he led the Tigers to the NCAA finals and set two tournament records in the mid-1960s. Bradley went on to play with the New York Knickerbockers for 10 years, becoming an integral part of the star-studded team that won two NBA titles. He made rapid political changes in 1978, when he was elected United States Senator in New Jersey. Bradley later challenged President Al Gore's unsuccessful challenge to the Democratic Alliance's nomination for the 2000 presidential election in a campaign focused on principles and policies.
