Jessica Beth Savitch was a well-known American TV journalist. She was the first woman to be assigned to evening broadcasts in the Southern United States in the late 1970's. She has worked as an anchor for the weekend of NBC Nightly News and presented daily updates on NBC News. Jessica also hosted a documentary program called 'PBS's Public Affairs' on an American TV series called 'Frontline' which was launched in January 1983 and was linked to the program until she died in a road accident later that year. Savitch was famous for her audience's versatility and camera reading skills. Savitch, on the other hand, has also criticized his misinformation in the live broadcast of a short update of NBC News and her poor life. She started her first career as a news reader with a local radio station. Her father was the one who encouraged her to take up the profession of journalism. With that encouragement, she decided to pursue a career in communications. After the first wars, Jessica became a well-known journalist in the early 1980's demanding compensation equal to that of the male actors and writers of the time. Jessica was involved in a fatal road accident on October 23, 1983.
