Jiddu Krishnamurti

Date of Birth:

11-May-1895

Nationality:

India

Profession:

Jiddu Krishnamurti was one of the greatest spiritual leaders of the 20th century. As a young boy, he was called a 'teacher who will liberate the world'. The announcement was made by Dr. Annie Besant, then president of Theosophical Society. To prepare the world for his ingenuity, an organization was formed called the 'Order of the Star in the East' and the young Krishnamurti was appointed head of the organization. Although she endured twenty years of hard work in this role, he rejected the article and began his journey. For nearly 60 years he embarked on his quest, and he traveled the world, giving speeches to many viewers and people about the need for fundamental change in the world. He did not develop any attitude or religion, but rather spoke of the anxieties of daily life and the need for mankind to free themselves from the grip of fear, anxiety, grief, envy and anger. He was not a member of any religious group, and he desired to have his say in his choice of words and teachings. At the time of his death, he left a great legacy; one that covered all his teachings, speeches and books in the form of recorded lectures, interviews and discussions, books and publications.
