Ulrich Thomsen

Date of Birth:

06-Dec-1963

Nationality:

Denmark

Profession:

Ulrich Thomsen graduated from the Danish National School of Theater and Contemporary Dance in 1993, after which he performed in many theaters in Copenhagen, e.g. Dr Dantes Aveny, Mungo Park and the Østre Gasværks Theater. His creation in the film was in Ole Bornedal's Nightwatch (1994). Since then many roles have been, among others, The Biggest Heroes of Thomas Vinterberg, 1996, Susanne Bier's Credo (1997) and Anders Thomas Jensen's Flickering Lights (2000). However, the biggest success came in the film The Celebration (1998) by Thomas Vinterberg, playing his role as Christian, the son. This made him well-known outside Denmark, landing him a bad role for the actors in James Bond's film The World Is Not Enough (1999) and a feature in the English film Killing Me Softly (2002).
