Conor McGregor moved from a difficult position to a major star in the sport of martial arts (MMA). After joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2013, "The Notified" covered the featherweight division with its title title in 2015, and the following year became a two-team champion by winning the lightweight title. McGregor also fought boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the year 2017. He retired from MMA in March 2019, before returning and winning in January 2020.
