In the 1970's Robert Winston developed women's surgical techniques that improved fertility treatment. He later pioneered new drugs to improve in vitro fertilization (IVF) and developed implants diagnosis. This has allowed the embryos to be tested for genetic disorders and to allow biological parents to make mistakes genetics of having children without diseases such as cystic fibrosis. He is currently conducting a research program at the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology in Imperial College aims to improve human inclusion. Robert Winston has more than 300 scientific books on the subject human reproduction and the early stages of pregnancy. Robert Winston is also the Chairman of the Genesis Research Trust - a charity that has raised more than £ 13 million to to establish the Institute of Biology for Reproduction and Development and now supports high-quality research in the lives of women and infants.

We must not confuse religion with God, or technology with science. Religion stands in relationship to God as technology does in relation to science. Both the conduct of religion and the pursuit of technology are capable of leading mankind into evil; but both can prompt great good.

Man is a competitive creature, and the seeds of conflict are built deep into our genes. We fought each other on the savannah and only survived against great odds by organising ourselves into groups which would have had a common purpose, giving morale and fortitude.
